Dr. Wayne Harsha, MD

Otolaryngologist

Dr. Wayne Harsha, MD, opened Carolina Pines ENT after 19 years of practicing elsewhere. His primary goal is to offer compassionate care to each and every one of his patients. Harsha’s professional specialties include advanced head and neck conditions and multidisciplinary thyroid disorders.

A native to Newberry County, Harsha received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Furman University in 1997. He then went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston in 2001. He then went on to participate in a General Surgery Internship at Madigan Army Medical Center in Ft. Lewis, Washington.

Harsha is a member of the Society of Military Otolaryngologists and received the Hiram B. Curry, MD, Humanitarian Award in 2001, in addition to the Circulo Hispanoamericano Humanitarian Service Award.
In his spare time, Wayne enjoys football (including youth football coaching), Christian apologetics and hunting.

Robert Long, HIS

Hearing Instrament Specialist

Robert Long, HAS license number 0474, has 20 years of experience as a hearing aid instrument specialist. He is a caring and compassionate provider who strives to treat everyone like family and do what’s best for his patients rather than the bottom line. A member of the National Hearing Society, Robert stays up to date on the latest technology and is willing to answer any questions patients have.

Leighanne Wood, RMA

Medical Assistant

Leighanne became a registered medical assistant to provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families. She strives to educate and empathize with patients during vulnerable moments. Prior to joining the team at Caroline Pines ENT, she worked with pediatrics for four years and completed an internship with Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine in Rock Hill, SC.

Leighanne is involved with several community groups, including the Mid-Carolina Rebel Regiment Marching Band, Mid-Carolina Color Guard and the Newberry County Winter Guard. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, baking and spending time with her family and fur babies.

William ‘Mac’ Anderson, CMA

Medical Assistant

Mac Anderson is a certified medical assistant. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in chemistry from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C. His goal is to become a physician assistant.

Mac strives to help maintain a fun atmosphere in the clinic. Outside of work, he is a hunting guide for the South Carolina Waterfowl Association and enjoys duck and deer hunting, fishing and watching football and baseball.

Victoria Collins

Office Manager

“Self-care is the new healthcare.”

Victoria joined Carolina Pines ENT in 2023. She holds associate’s degrees in healthcare administration and human service, as well as a certificate in medical billing and coding. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and fur babies, car shows and pin-up photography.
